These terms govern your use of this website (dana.lol) and Tripbot, the chat bot that runs in the live chat of the A Dana Life livestream on Twitch and YouTube. By using the site or interacting with Tripbot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use them.

Who provides this

The site and Tripbot are provided by A Dana Life, LLC (“we”, “us”). You can reach us through the contact page.

Using the site and Tripbot

  • The website is provided for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
  • Tripbot is an interactive chat bot. You may send it commands (for example !location, !weather, or !guess) in the live chat where it is present.
  • Don’t abuse the service: no spamming commands, no attempting to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the bot or the systems behind it, and no using it to harass others or break the law.
  • We may rate-limit, ignore, or block any user, and may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.

Platform terms also apply

Tripbot operates inside Twitch and YouTube. When you interact with it there, you are also bound by those platforms’ own terms — including the YouTube Terms of Service and the Twitch Terms of Service. Information handled through YouTube is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. How we handle your information is described in our privacy policy.

Content and intellectual property

Except where otherwise noted, the writing and photography on this site are the property of A Dana Life, LLC and are made available under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

No warranty

The site and Tripbot are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or available at any particular time. Bot responses (locations, weather, and the like) are for entertainment and may be wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Dana Life, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or Tripbot.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which A Dana Life, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
